Walking to work this morning I witnessed a long queue of youngsters and oldsters waiting patiently to have first look and try out some brand new video game titles at The EuroGamer Expo 08.
I'll admit, in my youth, I spent many hours button bashing on different games thru the generations of Nintendo consoles (and on the rare occasion, I still do...), but it was quite suprising to see that much comittment so early in the morning.
Feeling a sense of kinship, I seized an opportunity and snuck into the event. I saw some incredible stuff like the latest installment of Street Fighter - its like a riding a bike, you don't forget! I was pleasantly suprised that I still remembered the moves! Before I get carried away I'll stop, but in closing I'll hopefully give you an idea as to why video games are outselling music: Mirror's Edge... things have come a long way from Super Mario!!!!
